As you would be aware, I redesigned the PD logo recently and updated my twitter theme based on the new logo. The next thing that sprang in my mind was to design a wallpaper for my readers and here it goes. This one was created from scratch using Photoshop.

Both Standard (1024×768 and 1600×1200) and Wide versions (1280×800 and 1920×1200) has been included in the zip file.

This is the third time I’m redesigning PD (I would rather call this a facelift). I’ve used some jquery to make things lively

So what are the major changes?

1. The Global Search

Type something(meaningful) on the Search field on the top right and wait for a second or two.

2. My social network

This section lets you to connect with me. Be my friend!

3. The Twitter Bird

I don’t want to explain this. Just move your mouse over the twitter bird.

4. The JQuery(moving) tabs

A simple JQuery animation.

5. Digg and Retweet buttons

You can see this in the post detail pages.

6. Calendar – shows posts of the current month

7. The Page peel icons

These icons already existed in the previous design but still I think it’s worth a mention.

8. Top Commenters

I love my readers and especially those who take the pain to comment or thank me for my efforts.

The initial version was a static one with around 5 pages and served as my personal portfolio. I started working on the current design about 6 months(not continuously) back. My deep love for webdesign, web2.0 and blogging has forced me to come up with ProductiveDreams. This is my public blog where in I post freebies, my views on webdesign, tutorials and ofcourse my works.
